Effective June 1, 2026, CI Investments Inc., operating as CI Global Asset Management (“CI GAM”), became the manager
of the investment funds previously managed by Invesco Canada Ltd. (“Invesco”), following the sale of Invesco’s Canadian
fund management agreements to CI GAM.
What to Expect
As part of this transition, there are several administrative updates related to pre-authorized chequing plans, payment
instructions, document branding and privacy. Please note that these changes are intended to support the ongoing
administration of your account and ensure a seamless transition of services, and do not affect your investments.
Pre-Authorized Chequing Plans
If you previously established a pre-authorized chequing plan / pre-authorized debit (“PAD”) arrangement with Invesco,
authorizing Invesco to debit your bank account for the amount and in the frequency for fund investment, no action is
required.
Existing PAD agreements remain in effect and will continue to be processed according to your current instructions. In
accordance with Payments Canada’s Rule H1, Invesco has assigned these PAD arrangements to CI GAM.
Beginning on or about September 1, 2026, PAD transactions will be processed in the name of CI GAM and may appear
as CII on your bank statement.
Payment Instructions
For purchases made by cheque, payments should now be made payable to:
• CI Investments Inc., or
• CI Global Asset Management
Wire transfer instructions have also been updated. Please contact your advisor for additional information.
Branding Updates
Over the coming months, you will begin to see CI GAM branding on investment-related documents, beginning with
trade confirmations.
Additional updates will be reflected on:
• Account Statements
• Tax Receipts
These updates are administrative only and do not affect your investments or account holdings.
Privacy and Personal Information
With this change in manager, your personal information was transferred to CI GAM in accordance with the
requirements of applicable privacy laws. CI GAM remains committed to maintaining the protection of your privacy and
safeguarding your personal information.
