Investments totalling<br>more than $8.8 billion are planned over the next five years, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 $4.9 billion for funding health and social services, education and higher education;<br>\u2022 $2.0 billion for supporting Quebecers and communities;<br>\u2022 $1.9 billion for acting on economic priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the government is announcing steps to optimize its action, which will generate additional<br>revenue of $2.9 billion over the next five years.
